(Oświadczenie o zamiarze powierzenia pracy cudzoziemcowi)
Citizens of Belarus, Moldova, Russian Federation and Ukraine may take a job without a necessity of obtaining a work permit for a job? not exceeding 6 months within the subsequent 12 months. Such employment is based on an employer’s declaration of intention to entrust a job to a foreigner submitted by a Polish employer and registered in the District Labour Office (Powiatowy Urząd Pracy). In this case there is no need to issue a work permit and the right to perform the job does not depend on the decision of the labour office.
Often, a declaration of intention of the employer to entrust a job to a foreigner is confused with the invitation or work permit. Nevertheless, it should be born in mind that this is a separate procedure, which is relatively easier, as it does not require much effort of the entity entrusting the work and the statement is issued immediately to the employer at the District Labour Office.
