In case of people applying for a visa, it is necessary for them to:
- justify their reasons for travelling and the conditions of their planned stay on the Schengen territory, or on the territory of a given country (i.e. Poland)
- have enough financial resources to support themselves and return to their country of origin, or for their transit to another country, to which one has a guaranteed entry, or is able to legally obtain such resources.
- they should not be on the list of people who were refused entry to Schengen territory
- they cannot be among the people who are considered to be eager to disturb the public order, safety or international relations
