It is advised that before travelling with your pet you should consult with a vet, informing him about a target country and circumstances of this travelling (exhibition, vacation, move for a permanent stay etc). It is important to make proper preparations of documents and to know what inoculations are needed.
In most cases, travelling causes much stress to animals. A pet should be accustomed to walking on a leash, come when called, not to be afraid of other animals and accept transport conditions. It is better to avoid feeding animals before and during travelling, especially in a plane. It is better not to feed your pet when a trip lasts shorter than 6 hours. If it is longer, feed your pet with small portions of food. It is good to take water from your house as your pet can be accustomed to it. Water should also be fed in small amounts.
