Tourist transport

For those, who wish to see the unusual sides of the city, we recommend the tourist lines:

  • Seasonal water bus sailing on Vistula during the summer holidays (until 30th of September). The bus sails from the Stare Miasto stop, the wharf near the Śląsko-Dąbrowski bridge, everyday from 9:30am till 4:30pm, each hour. The cruise takes approximately 90 min (standard ticket costs 14 PLN, the reduced ticket is 50% cheaper). From the same place, at 9:30am at the weekends, a water bus to Zegrzyński reservoir leaves. The cruise takes approximately 7.5h (standard return ticket costs 48 PLN). We suggest booking it earlier, by calling: +48 (022) 534 55 04 or directly : This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ; www.tramwajwodny.waw.pl
  • Horse-pulled Omnibus (means of transportation that was used in 19th century Warsaw) runs in Stare Miasto and Nowe Miasto from the end of June until the end of September. For a one ride it can take  maximum 12 people. Omnibuses depart from Plac Zamkowy (every day except Mondays) every 30 min, between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm, and the ride takes approximately 50 min. Each of the passengers receives a brochure as a gift, in which there is the route of Starowka and Nowe Miasto described in detail. Prices: 12 PLN - standard ticket for the whole route, 6 PLN - standard ticket for a partial route and the concessionary ticket (up to the age of 12); it is worth to book it earlier, by calling +48 (022) 534 55 04 or do it online This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. • Retro-Tram (Saturdays and Sundays in July and August) - line 'T'. Those trams were  used in Warsaw a long time ago. The ticket inspector shouted the name of the stop out loud and the construction of the car enabled jumping on and off. The cars were manufactured in the '50s. The tram starts (and ends) its route on Narutowicz Square, from where it leaves every 30 min from noon until 6pm.
  • Buses of lines 100 and 180. Do you want to see the greatest attractions in Warsaw in an express way? Then the line 100 is exactly what you need. The bus will take you for a 90 min return trip from Stare Miasto. It will pass Łazienki, a Jewish Cemetery and go around Praga district. Most obviously you can get off the bus any time you want. Normally the bus operates on Saturdays and Sundays, but from July to September it operates every day. Another scenic route from Łazienki to Powązki cemetery is covered by the 180 bus. It operates all year round. The tickets for lines 100 and 180 are the standard municipal transport tickets. The timetables of both lines can be found on the web: www.ztm.waw.pl.
