When we come to a foreign country to take up a job or studies, we usually take various documents: previous jobs certificates, references, language or courses certificates, diplomas etc. In order to use them in job applications, they should be translated into Polish in most of cases.
A presence of a translator may be required during various situations in offices, e.g. during a marriage ceremony or at the Department of Foreigners Affairs of the Mazovia District Government Office. It is necessary in cases when a foreigner does not speak Polish, at least at a communicative level. You can use services of translation offices, individual translators or companies specialized in services for foreigners or even of non-profit organizations.
