If a foreigner wants to obtain Polish driving license on the basis of the driving license issued by his/her country of origin, it is necessary to include a copy of current license with a sworn translation into Polish (also in case when that country is a party of the Convention on Road Traffic).
A sworn translator is needed during a practical and theoretical parts of a driving license exam of a foreigner not speaking Polish at the communicative level. Costs of a sworn translation services are covered by a foreigner.
