The costs of translation depends on various factors:
- frequency of translation services for a particular language (English and Russian are mostly less costly than Belarusian or Ukrainian);
- translation type (a sworn is more expensive)
- target language (the translation into a foreign language is usually more expensive than into Polish);
- translation term (i.e. the period for translating; the normal mode is most common up to 5 pages a day, the urgent mode requires 5-12 pages a day, the express mode - more than 12 pages a day);
- translation character (translations of specialized texts is more expensive; however, determination if it is a general or a specialized text is arbitrary; in most cases it depends on the amount of phraseology and specialized terms; specialized texts include scientific articles, legal acts etc).
Due to the above differences, evaluation of translation cost is often based on its various individual characteristics. Costs differ also depending on the region and city.
