Car purchase
You can search for a car at used car dealer’s, in car showrooms (new cars), in advertisements in the newspapers or on-line, such as:
www.motoallegro.pl, www.moto.gratka.pl
Before buying a new or a used car it is worth checking not only the opinions, but also prices. It can be done on the following website:

Sales contract
Through a sales contract, the seller commits oneself to transfer the ownership of the car to the buyer, as well as hand over this vehicle to him. The buyer, however, is obliged to take the car and pay the established price for the good. The sales contract must be in written form, either manually, or printed out. It also needs to contain both parties’ personal data and the information about the subject of the sales contract, as well as be manually signed by both parties.

Moreover, you need to fill in a declaration concerning the tax on civil-legislative measures (form PCC-3). The tax has to be paid during 14 days from the moment of buying a car, in a tax office cashier’s window that is appropriate according to your place of living, or by transfer.
The payment constitutes 2% of the market value of the car. It is worth noting that the market value may vary from the price we paid for the car, but this is the average price you are supposed to pay the tax on. The average market value can be established by comparing the prices of similar models.
