An office delivers all letters by a registered post, its employees or other authorized bodies or persons.
Lettersto natural persons are delivered to their homes or work places. When an addressee is absent, then a letter is delivered to other adult household member, neighbour or to a house janitor if they are willing to give the letter to the addressee.
An information about leaving the letter to your neighbour or janitor is put into your mail box or in door to your apartment.
If the above way of delivery is not possible, then:
- in case of postal delivery, the letter is kept at the post office for 14 days,
- in case of delivery by a clerk or other authorized person or body, the letter is kept for 14 days at that office.
IMPORTANT! Not colleting letter within 14 days from the first notice results in the fact that a letter is considered to be delivered and it is left in case records.
