Temporal stay registration for a period longer than 3 months
Please note that this type of registering is possible for a period not longer than a period of your legal stay rights in Poland.
Required documents:
completed and undersigned form of temporal stay registration for a period longer than 3 months
a foreigner presents a passport or other document enabling identity determination and a document confirming legality of the stay in Poland, e.g. a visa, a residence permit, etc. (please check in your office what document should you present)
additionally:
for verification: original document confirming legal rights for a dwelling: e.g. a rental contract, a legal decision, an administrative act, an abstract from a land register or other document confirming legal rights to a dwelling.
NOTE!
When completing a form, you need to have a confirmation of stay in the dwelling where you are going to be registered. The confirmation is made by the person having legal rights to the dwelling (e.g. its owner). The most often situation is that offices require the presence of such person.
When all procedures are finished, a person submitting application receives a document confirming registration (valid up to the date of registration end).
Temporal stay registration for a period shorter than 3 months
Required documents:
a foreigner presents a passport or other document enabling identity determination and a document confirming legality of the stay in Poland, e.g. a visa, a stay card etc. (please check in the office what document should you have)
NOTE!
Registration of a foreigner for a temporal stay below 3 months, is concluded verbally in a city/community hall, in the presence of the dwelling owner or the lessee having legal rights to the dwelling, who submits data required by the law (please check required information).
When all procedures are finished, a person submitting application receives a document confirming registration (valid up to the expiry date of registration).
