Bookings can be made via Internet, fax, tourist information office, in selected travel agencies or directly at the hotel. In some cases one may need to confirm the booking. Additionally , before the arrival you might also be asked to pay a deposit which will be lost in case of cancelling the booking.

At the check-in foreigners are asked to present a passport and, in some cases, confirmation of the booking (e.g. fax or a computer printout).
Check in - check out time (doba hotelowa)/ is the time at which the room is rented and regulates the time when one can move in and has to move out.
Extra paid services - for access to thematic television channels or using the mini-bar in the hotel room one has to pay extra.
