An entrepreneur may start conducting business activity on the date of the application for the entry in the records of business or after obtaining registration of entrepreneurs in the National Court Register (KRS). Only entrepreneurs being natural persons are liable to an entry into the records. However, the companies, among which personal and capital ones, as well as the branches of foreign entrepreneurs, foundations and associations are liable for the entry to the National Court Register. Branch offices of foreign entrepreneurs are inscribed into the special register run by the Minister of economy. A following table points out to which registers individual entrepreneurs should be inscribed.
