The Act on promotion of employment and labour market institutions lists/ such, those/ cases when the province governor may refuse to issue a work permit*. Such a situation may arise when:
- the employer submitted false information or used a false document in the application;
- has not fulfilled the conditions specified in the Act necessary to obtain a work permit;
- a final court verdict has found him/her guilty for:
- contravention related to illegal alien employment,
- crime against the rights of hired persons,
- crime against the credibility of the documents,
- crime of human trafficking, - has not fulfilled obligations related to application for a work permit and alien employment,
- requests for a work permit for an alien who:
- does not meet the qualification requirements or other requirements in case of a regulated profession,
- in relation to the procedure for issuing a work permit has been punished for a crime against the credibility of the documents, - in cases when an alien has been included in the list of aliens whose stay on the territory of Poland is undesirable (the list applies to people who received the decision on expulsion from Poland).
